The work

Case Study #1 : Glen Eden Business Improvement District

Glen Eden Business Improvement District Incorporated is the body that promotes about 100 shops and other businesses in and around Glenmall Place in West Auckland. They wanted a newsletter that people could pick up while out shopping. The aim is to promote business by putting a friendly face on the shops there and letting people know what's going on in this vibrant Kiwi township. Every issue of Glen Eden Village Voice reaches thousands of people. It is a careful blend of news, photos, promotions and entertainment. It's working, because we are now into our second year.

Case Study #2 : Port of Singapore Authority

Singapore is one of the world's busiest ports. They wanted to put a human face on their vast operations as well as inform readers about developments there. The result was Portview magazine. Each issue profiles a shipping industry personality, provides news about the port, and adds an Arts page or two plus some other ingredients to lighten it up. The result is a high-quality glossy magazine read and enjoyed by shipping industry leaders and also by people at the highest levels of government. And Singapore continues to be one of the world's top two or three container ports.

Case Study #3 : Garuda Indonesia Airlines

Indonesia has a fascinating story to tell to visitors and even to its own people, and one of the main ways they do it is through their national airline's inflight magazine, Garuda. More than 20,000 copies go into airline seats every month. Initially only in English, stories in the Indonesian language were added later. We also ran stories about the many destinations they flew to, so it made for a very interesting and colourful magazine indeed. So much so that readers of the British-based Business Traveller magazine voted Garuda one of the world's Top 10 inflight magazines.
